Property Description

Most folks think the word "oasis" is a green space surrounded by desert, but it can also mean an energetic and satisfying escape from the daily grind! In that context, the Blue Oasis in Kerrville is such a place, a kid-friendly oasis with amenities like a fire pit, hot tub,  and lots of relaxation space for when a well-deserved rest is needed. The whole family will love this oasis, with plenty to enjoy on-site, with great Hill Country towns like Kerrville and Bandera close by.

** Hot tub and deck are private for your stay.

Award-winning wineries, shopping, and cuisine choices are available in Kerrville, and the Blue Oasis puts you close to it all! The Guadalupe River Trail runs through town, with stops at several parks. Take in Kerrville, and all the adventure of the Guadalupe River, at this wonderful guest home!

The sky-blue Oasis has a spacious deck in two sections: one wide open, with an umbrella for shade, and the other covered pergola-style, with outdoor lights and a bubbling waterfall. A smaller private deck is upstairs, off the master bedroom. Treat yourself to relaxation time in the hot tub! Craving a grilled snack? The fire pit is a great gathering spot, and there's a gas grill, too. Ample parking is also available.

With central air for comfort, the Oasis presents a comforting vibe. Everything's new, from the furniture and electric fireplace to the Roku-equipped TV (accessible with Wifi provided). Tables inside and out assure dining in style, and everything for food prep is in the kitchen, with new appliances and regular and K-Cup coffee makers. There are two ways to access the second floor: a spiral staircase inside, and more mobility-friendly stairs outside.

The Blue Oasis has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two bunk-style beds with four twins total. Add a queen sleeper sofa, and you've got Posturpedic mattress comfort for up to eight! (The full duplex can be booked for up to 16; let us know if you'd like that option.) Each floor has a full bath with a glass-walled shower stall, and clean bed and bath linens are provided. For stays three days or longer, laundry facilities are also available.

The Cowboy Capital of the World: Why Bandera Still Rides Tall

There are towns in Texas with cowboy roots — and then there’s Bandera. Nestled along the Medina River, surrounded by rolling hills and wide-open ranchland, Bandera isn’t just proud of its heritage — it lives it every day. Known far and wide as the Cowboy Capital of the World, Bandera embodies the spirit of the Old West with a genuine authenticity that’s getting harder to find. Here, boots aren’t just for show, rodeos still pack the stands, and a handshake still means something.

There’s a certain feeling you get when you step into the Texas Hill Country — a quiet mix of wonder, freedom, and belonging. It’s rugged yet graceful, wild yet welcoming — the kind of place that invites you to explore, stay a while, and remember what life feels like when it’s simple and real.

Owners are attentive and will immediately resolve any hiccups such as the use of TVs in the house. Great outside entertainment for kids of all ages as well as adults ! Great hot tub along with the propane bbq grill and the firepit which are all located in the backyard! The backyard allows you to relax while you monitor your children as they play with a variety of amenities. One restaurant to go to is Billy Gene's ! You must sit outside which backs up to the Guadalupe River which provides great views while you dine !

We loved staying in this townhome! It’s big and spacious, more than enough space for 5-7 people, beautiful inside and out, clean, amazing location, and great hosts.
